Carol Scanlan is originally from Johnstown, PA and currently lives in Bel Air. She started playing Cello with the SSO in 1998. Carol is a retired Director of Special Education for a Pennsylvania School District, and is also a certified Speech Pathologist.
Why did Carol Join the SSO?
I had played in orchestras growing up and wanted to play with an orchestra again. This group gives me a chance to play with an orchestra and challenges me to constantly increase my musical skills.”
